Our primary motivation is to improve the mental health of populations through collaborative, impact-driven research that transforms the delivery and organization of health and social services.

About one in three Canadians will suffer from a mental illness in their lifetime. Experiencing a mental illness can have a profound impact on a person's life, on their relationships with family and friends, on their involvement in their community and on society in general.

Anyone experiencing a mental health problem or illness should be able to quickly access high-quality mental health care that supports them on their personal journey to recovery. Yet, for too many people, their care experiences do not align with this vision. The REMIX Lab's job is to make our vision a reality and ensure that everyone receives the mental health care and services they deserve.
