Stratégies d'engagement

dans les soins de collaboration en santé mentale

(complété)

Why?

Collaborative mental health care is an evidence-based model of care in which primary care and mental health care providers work together, sharing resources, expertise and decision-making to improve the population's access to well-coordinated, high-quality mental health care. While many studies have focused on how to improve collaboration between the different types of health professionals involved in collaborative care, much less attention has been paid to the relationships between health professionals, consumers and families. For collaborative mental health care to become a truly person- and family-centred model of care, we need to better understand how consumers and families can be meaningfully engaged as partners in this care.
