Mission
The REMIX lab aims to improve the mental health of populations through applied and participatory research that transforms clinical practices and the organization of health and social services

Services that are accessible, person-centred, integrated and recovery-oriented
Vision
Service users who are partners in their care and in the organization and improvement of services
Learning and equitable healthcare systems that promote sustainable health
Approach
Participatory and patient-oriented research
We conduct research in partnership with health system actors, including clinicians, administrators, policymakers, and service users and their families.
People with lived experience of mental health problems are often full members of our team, helping us in many ways throughout the research process.
Qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods
Our applied approach to research relies on rigorous qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods that are adapted to our study partners’ needs and context.
Implementation and Improvement Sciences
Our research aims to make a difference. We use evidence, theories and methods from implementation and improvement sciences to close knowledge-to-action gaps and improve health services and systems.
