Lively discussions in Ottawa for CAHSPR 2026!
It was a very busy trip for our researcher Matthew Menear and Nour el houda Laieb, a Master’s student in Clinical and Biomedical Sciences. Our two colleagues took part in the 2026 conference of the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR).
Dr Menear introduced the Mental Health and Substance Use Action Group for the first time. A workshop was held to gather participants’ views on what the group’s future activities should entail.
For her part, Nour el houda presented ‘Care Experiences and Journeys of Women Affected by Perinatal Mental Health Disorders: Preliminary Results’, marking her first appearance at the CHSRPA.
This experience sparked discussions that could have gone on for ages! Matthew and Nour came away with new insights, training and food for thought for their research project.
