Why ?

Common mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, affect more than 20% of the population and are a leading cause of disability. While most care for common mental health conditions is provided through primary care, many people struggle to access it. This is especially true for those who experience multiple vulnerabilities (due to age, gender, ethnicity, income level, etc.). These overlapping inequalities in access can have significant negative consequences for the healthcare experience and health outcomes.
